The Cost to Participate: SILVER Participant: $100.00 or GOLD Participant: $150.00
This is a “less is more” and grassroots pilot program! The cost to participate is far less than any one ad your business can place in any publication. This fee covers local and regional marketing for radio, television, multiple newspapers, magazines, shopping map and dining destinations guide, and referrals from peers. You may choose not to participate, kindly consider sponsoring or donating to this pilot campaign. Participation BONUS: $50.00 of your participation fee will be applied to your annual dues for the 2008 Smith Mountain Lake Retail Merchants Association.
SILVER Participant: $100.00 includes:
- Marketing and Advertising: Nov 21 through December 21 2007 [radio, TV, all local and regional newspapers, magazines, two 4x4 street signage (Rt 616/Scruggs Road and Lakewood Professional Center) and one smaller (18” x24” two sided with ground stake) pockets of commerce” signage, Hometown Christmas Customer Shopping Map and Dining Destination Guides placed in every participants place of business, store window sign, and SML Retail Merchants web site with links to your web site listing your operational hours and all special events you’ve scheduled from November 21 – December 31, 2007
- Hometown Christmas Gifts drawing box and entry forms to be delivered to your business November 19-20 and displayed December 7 – 20
- Hometown Christmas Tree “Gift Box” on the Hometown Christmas Tree displayed at The Cottage Gate, Westlake Town Center. Each participating merchant or dining destination and sponsors donate a gift amount towards the grand value of the Hometown Christmas Tree.
Mr. Santa Clause will draw the winner from all the collective boxes on December 21 at 12:00 noon at The Cottage Gate
- Customer Invitations to the 2007 SML Hometown Christmas, Dec 7-21, to be given to your customers November 21-December 7 or you run out!
- Hometown Christmas Shopping Map and Dining Destinations Guide: an important marketing tool and resource for all participants to refer business to peers and share with customers. All participating merchants and dining destinations will be listed
